Expressive, other-centered, and determined to improve the lives of his patients, Dr. Mishal Al Kasimi embraced the mandate of creating, developing and running Capital Health on behalf of the Board of Directors at ADCG.
He is a Key Opinion Leader in the healthcare industry and the driving force behind the transformation of rehabilitative medicine in Abu Dhabi. Dr. Mishal has influenced the healthcare scene in the region through various national and international presentations, TV appearances and medical workshops.
Dr. Mishal received his undergraduate, Medical School and Post-graduate training in the United States. He also achieved the status of Certified Physician Executive by the Certifying Commission in Medical Management from the American Association for Physician Leadership.
After completing his residency, Dr. Mishal served as Clinical Instructor at the State University of New York Downtown Medical Center, Director of Newborn Medicine at Lutheran Medical Center and Chief of Medical Education at Lutheran Health Centers. Upon returning to the region, Dr. Mishal served as the Chair of Pediatric Services for the Ambulatory Health Services (AHS) at Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) and the Medical Director for the Abu Dhabi Centre for Care and Rehabilitation at the Zayed Higher Organization (ZHO).
Dr. Ramzi Moufarrej
Chief amongst the many achievements of his career, Dr. Ramzi has earned his Medical Degree from the American University of Beirut and has completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Duke University Medical Center; Durham, North Carolina.
Dr. Ramzi is also a proud Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School Boston, Massachusetts, and has completed a clinical research & fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital; Boston, Massachusetts.
Prior to joining us, Dr. Ramzi was Chief of Critical Care, at Zayed Military Hospital: Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Dr. William DeMayo

Double U.S. Board certified in PM&R and Spinal Cord Injuries.
A Boston College and Columbia University College of physicians and Surgeons graduate, Dr. DeMayo brings with him more than 30 years of physiatry experience including numerous leadership roles as Medical and Clinical Director for specialty Neuro and Spinal specialty centers in the United Stated such as the Veterans Brain Injury Center, the Conemaugh Health System Neuroscience Center and Blue Cross Schield facilities.
In addition to his longstanding rehabilitation experience, Dr. DeMayo has lectured and instructed in leading academic institutions such as Yale School of Medicine and the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University in the USA. Furthermore, he is the recipient of multiple honors and awards from the likes of Boston University and Professional Rehabilitation Associations and is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Dr. Tayseer El Hassan

Dr Tayseer is a Consultant Paediatrician with over 20 years’ experience in acute paediatrics and paediatric long-term care in the UAE and the UK. She is a graduate of the University of Khartoum, Sudan and made the UK the mainstay of her post-graduate training and early career before moving to the UAE. She has vast experience in the assessment and management of children with chronic conditions including cerebral palsy, anoxic brain injury, congenital and metabolic diseases. Dr Tayseer has special interest in Paediatric Respirology/Pulmonology, and over 8 years of clinical experience particularly in looking after children with difficult to treat asthma, chronic lung disease, and those who are tracheostomy and ventilator-dependent.
Dr El-Hassan is a keen educationalist and has been actively involved in the Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics & Child Health (MRCPCH), UK examination since 2006. She hosted the MRCPCH clinical examination at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC), Abu-Dhabi and played a leading role in establishing hospital clinical guidelines throughout her career. She is a member of the Academic Paediatric Association (APA), USA and a fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics & Child Health, UK.
